The 5th grade experimented with robotics in science class last week, which resulted in an epic battle! Students are learning to enhance their engineering skills and while getting hands-on experience, working with various components like sensors, motors and micro controllers! They gain great insight to the field of robotics and automation while having fun!

Save the Date - May 3rd is Grandparents/Special Person's Day for grades K-5! We would like to celebrate all of our K-5 families and their Heritage. We ask that, if possible, you send in a photo or photos of your family/grandparents (via electronic image) to jnaeher@chshayadigest.com, so we can display them in the lobby for that week. We would like these photos (high resolution please) as early as possible but no later than 4/19. Special note: This day has an 11:30am dismissal for K-5 only and Kingsmen Kids will not be available during or after the picnic!

Lower School students participated in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. This challenge is a fun and exciting event where students learn about their hearts while helping others. Students, along with their family and friends, also had the option of fundraising. With a goal set to raise $7,500, our students, their families, churches, and CHS staff helped raise over $8,000. We also had 21 students and their families learn "Hands-Only CPR". Congratulations to Adam Mahadeo from Mrs. Allen's 4th grade class. Adam and his family earned our top individual donor award. Great job Adam! Great job to the entire lower school!
